Chicco Secci

Italian native and musically born in the eighties, Chicco Secci started his career as a music producer in the biggest network called Radio DeeJay in Milan.

After touring all the best clubs in the country, Chicco moved to Ibiza, where he had a residency for five years at club KU (today Privilege), a club considered the largest venue in Europe at that time.
Because of the time length of that residency, Chicco got much more exposure, earning him lots of Dj gigs all over Europe.

Ibiza is known as a muse and enchanting place, which inspires Chicco to produce the dreamy music he is known for. As a result, his very first release, Whip Of The Rhythm,
was a favorite of the late eighties for many pioneers of that time, such as Pete Tong, Sasha and Black Box. Other producers have made lots of remakes of it, since the original release.

Chicco’s next big step was moving to Miami to expand the new genre of house music in America, which at the time was mostly dominated by hip hop and R&B. In South Beach, he quickly became one of the top Dj’s, playing at the best venues the city had to offer. He began collaborating with DJ/Producers such as George Acosta and Robbie Rivera.

Produced tracks such as Memories and Let’s Get Together gave Chicco a household name amongst DJ’s around the world. He even became a role model for upcoming dj’s as they just entered the music scene during that time.

In fact, He was the first Dj to play Benassi’s track, Satisfaction, in America. Chicco’s legendary status is kept on till this day where he had residencies and headlines at all the best clubs in Miami Beach such as Amnesia, Living Room, Mynt, Set, The Wall, Space and Mansion.

Chicco has found himself sharing the decks with established names that include Tiesto, Paul van Dyk, Sasha, Roger Sanchez, Deadmau5, Axwell, EDX, Sebastian Ingrosso, Steve Angello, Fedde Le Grand, Benny Benassi, Pete Tong, Laidback Luke, and many more.

In early June 2010, Tarantella by Chicco Secci hit the number one position in the official U.K. Buzz Club Chart, and was released by all the major labels all over the globe, Warner Bros, Ultra, Armada, Kontor etc.

Tarantella was proclaimed as the Anthem of summer 2010 in Europe, and it was presented on 43 different music compilations. It was also featured in Pete Tong’s radio show, BBC Radio One, as “Essential New Tune”.

In 2011, a new release “Fly With You” on Magnificent Records, got worldwide recognition and support from Avicii, and Matt Darey. The release included remixes by Benny Benassi and Alex Gaudino.

In 2015 three tracks broadcasted on Pete Tong Radio One Essential Selection, “Parole Remix” for Federico Scavo, “Sooper Seven” on Nic Fanciulli’s label Saved Records, “SecSee – Odyssey To Anyoona”.
